The LopArt team is currently pursuing different pilot projects within classrooms in Québec.

PILOT PROJECTS

Graphic arts teacher Marc Lasalle aims to use LopArt to construct a mural using abstract images created by his pupils from grades one through six .

This pilot project took place with first and second grade students at the Marie Clarac school in Montréal during Arts Week. The activity was supervised by Stéphane Lauzon, a teacher specializing in arts and media techniques .

'La ruelle en fête' (Alley Party) is an artistic event for children organized as part of the 'Journées de la Culture'. Taking place in the alley behind Jeanne-Mance street, between Fairmount and Saint-Viateur, the event includes workshops in painting, clay and drawing, as well as shows, activities and exhibits of artworks .

Lopart presented a workshop in computer art. With mouse in hand, around thirty children participated with great pleasure.
